# Macro Pan
URL: https://remocn.dev/docs/typography/macro-pan

A serif headline is revealed by a close-up pan across its glyphs, pulling back to a full lockup.

- Install: `npx shadcn@latest add @remocn/macro-pan`
- Vibe: premium
- Natural length: 134f @ 30fps

## Installation

```bash
npx shadcn@latest add @remocn/macro-pan
```

## Usage

```tsx
// src/Root.tsx
import { Composition } from "remotion";
import { MacroPan } from "@/components/remocn/macro-pan";
const MacroPanScene = () => (
  <MacroPan title="Built to move." label="remocn" index="01" accent="#3B5BFD" />
);
export const RemotionRoot = () => (
  <Composition
    id="MacroPan"
    component={MacroPanScene}
    durationInFrames={180}
    fps={30}
    width={1280}
    height={720}
  />
);
```

The camera starts zoomed into the letters and pans across them, then pulls back to reveal the whole headline ending on a gradient while the corner label settles. Pass `title`, `label` and `index`; it ships light and dark through `theme`.

## Props

| Prop | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `title` | `string` | `"Built to move."` | Headline revealed by the pan |
| `label` | `string` | `"remocn"` | Running label in the corner; Remocn shows the logo |
| `index` | `string` | `"01"` | Number before the label, like a reel or chapter |
| `accent` | `string` | `"#3B5BFD"` | Accent color (any valid CSS color) |
| `theme` | `"dark" \| "light"` | `"dark"` | Ships light and dark palettes |
| `speed` | `number` | `1` | Playback speed multiplier |

## Use when
- A title that should feel shot with a macro lens, scanning across the letterforms.
- A chapter opener with a running label and index in the corner.

## Don't use when
- You want a quick, clean entrance - use `staggered-fade-up`.
- You want a blur reveal with no camera move - use `focus-blur-resolve`.
- You want the lens effect on a single word - use `glass-capsule`.
